TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in the Notarized by Cristy Louisiana Notary Creator Program (“Program”).
By submitting content to the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. PROGRAM SPONSOR
The Program is administered by Notarized by Cristy (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, terminate, or replace the Program at any time and for any reason.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participation is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
Participants must possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
Employees, contractors, affiliates, and contributors of NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may participate unless otherwise restricted by NOTARIZED BY CRISTY.
Participation is void where prohibited by law.
3. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Participants may submit original short-form video content relating to Louisiana notary practice, Louisiana law concepts, exam preparation, professional development, or other approved educational topics.
All submitted content must:
• Be original or properly licensed by the participant;
• Not infringe upon the rights of any third party;
• Comply with applicable laws;
• Comply with platform policies;
• Not contain defamatory, unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, or obscene content;
• Not contain unauthorized copyrighted materials, trademarks, music, images, or other protected content.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY reserves sole discretion regarding acceptance or rejection of any submission.
Submission does not guarantee publication.
4. PUBLICATION DISCRETION
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY retains sole and absolute discretion regarding:
• Whether content is published;
• When content is published;
• Whether content is edited;
• How content is presented;
• Whether content is removed;
• Whether content remains eligible for participation.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY is under no obligation to publish any submitted content.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LICENSE
Participants retain ownership of their original content.
By submitting content to NOTARIZED BY CRISTY, participant grants NOTARIZED BY CRISTY a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, non-exclusive license to:
• Use;
• Reproduce;
• Display;
• Publish;
• Distribute;
• Edit;
• Modify;
• Adapt;
• Create derivative works from;
• Promote;
• Repurpose;
• Archive;
• Monetize;
• Otherwise exploit
the submitted content in any media now known or later developed.
This license applies to YouTube, websites, social media platforms, online courses, educational materials, marketing materials, advertisements, and any other business activities associated with NOTARIZED BY CRISTY.
Participant acknowledges that no additional compensation is owed for such use beyond any bonus payments voluntarily offered through the Program.
6. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
Participant represents and warrants that:
• The submitted content is original or properly licensed;
• Participant possesses all necessary rights to grant the license described herein;
• The content does not violate the rights of any third party;
• The content is truthful to the best of participant’s knowledge;
• The content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NOTARIZED BY CRISTY from any claims arising from breach of these representations.
7. PERFORMANCE BONUS PROGRAM
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may offer voluntary performance bonuses for eligible content.
Current bonus levels are:
5,000 views = $5
10,000 views = $10
25,000 views = $25
50,000 views = $50
100,000 views = $100
These bonus levels may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time.
8. BONUS ELIGIBILITY
Only content selected and published by NOTARIZED BY CRISTY is eligible for bonus consideration.
The measurement period begins on the publication date selected by NOTARIZED BY CRISTY.
Only views accumulated during the first thirty (30) days following publication are considered.
Bonus levels are not cumulative.
A submission qualifies only for the highest bonus tier achieved during the applicable measurement period.
Maximum bonus per submission is One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
Maximum bonus per contributor per calendar month is Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00).
9. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Performance bonuses are generally processed on the 30th day of each month.
To qualify for a payment cycle:
(a) the content must have completed its full thirty (30) day measurement period; and
(b) such measurement period must have ended at least ten (10) calendar days before the applicable payout date.
Content not meeting both requirements automatically rolls into the next eligible payment cycle.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may delay payments for verification, administrative processing, fraud review, technical issues, or other reasonable business purposes.
10. VIEW VERIFICATION
All view counts and performance metrics shall be determined solely by NOTARIZED BY CRISTY using analytics and reporting tools available to NOTARIZED BY CRISTY.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY’s determination regarding performance metrics shall be final and binding.
Artificial, fraudulent, purchased, incentivized, manipulated, automated, or otherwise invalid traffic may result in disqualification.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY reserves the right to deny or revoke bonus eligibility if suspicious activity is detected.
11. TAX RESPONSIBILITY
Participants are solely responsible for any federal, state, local, foreign, or other tax obligations arising from payments received through the Program.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may request tax information when required by law.
12. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may suspend, restrict, or terminate participation at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Violation of these Terms;
• Misrepresentation;
• Fraudulent conduct;
• Inappropriate behavior;
• Reputational concerns;
• Failure to comply with Program requirements.
Termination may result in forfeiture of pending bonus eligibility.
13. NO EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP
Participation in the Program does not create:
• Employment;
• Partnership;
• Joint venture;
• Agency relationship;
• Independent contractor relationship;
• Franchise relationship.
Participants are independent individuals and are not authorized to act on behalf of NOTARIZED BY CRISTY.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NOTARIZED BY CRISTY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from participation in the Program.
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY’s total liability shall not exceed the amount of bonus payments actually paid to the participant during the preceding twelve (12) months.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NOTARIZED BY CRISTY and its owners, affiliates, agents, contractors, successors, and assigns from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
• Submitted content;
• Violation of these Terms;
• Infringement of intellectual property rights;
• Misconduct by participant.
16. PROGRAM MODIFICATION
NOTARIZED BY CRISTY may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Continued participation after modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Louisiana without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Louisiana.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between participant and NOTARIZED BY CRISTY regarding participation in the Program and supersede any prior discussions or understandings relating to the Program.
